The RENE Certification Course

Learning Objectives

Real estate professionals encounter various people, personalities, situations, behind-the-scenes issues, and competing objectives of the parties. This course aims to help participants:

  1. Understand the basic types of negotiations, the phases of negotiations, and the skills needed for successful negotiating.
  2. Understand and apply the basic negotiating concepts: WATNA, BATNA, WAP, and ZOPA.
  3. Recognize patterns and tactics being utilized.
  4. Adjust your communication style to achieve optimum results with any party in the transaction.
  5. Effectively negotiate face-to-face, on the phone, through email, text, and live virtually.
  6. Lay the groundwork for a negotiation.
  7. Identify what information to share and what to keep to yourself.
  8. Understand basic bargaining techniques.
  9. Apply strategies for identifying mutual gain.
  10. Understand how to reach consensus and set the terms of agreement.
  11. Secure the best possible outcome for your client and protect their interests.
  12. Deal with difficult issues.


*PMAR does not report CE credits to the state. We will provide you with a transcript via email within 30 days that meets the Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission’s requirements. Students are responsible for maintaining their own records.

Please note, completing this two-day course is only one step in achieving your RENE Certification. You must also be a Realtor in good standing and submit an application and $159 credentialing fee to REBI. Instructions on this will be provided after successful completion of the course.

Pricing

This class will be a two-part series, consisting of two full-day sections on Nov. 19 & 21. Your registration covers both sessions.

MEMBER PRICING:  

$249.EARLY BIRD MEMBER DISCOUNT UNTIL 10-30-24 THEN  REGULAR PRICE $279.00   


NON-MEMBER PRICING:

 REGULAR PRICE $299.00


Tuition must be paid in full at the time of registration.  

Refunds, minus a $25 cancellation fee will be made only when written notice is  provided  no less than five (5) days prior to course start date. Requests can be sent to  dawn @poconorealtors .com .  

Cancellations made less than five (5) days prior to course start date may receive partial credit toward a future class at the discretion of the Director. Requests should be sent to  dawn@poconorealtors.com  

No refunds will be issued after the start of the class.  If  a student is dismissed for failure to abide by any school  policies,  no refund will be given.  

In case of a no show, the student will be charged $25.00 .  

There will be a processing fee of $40.00 for returned checks.  

The Minimum Number of Students needed for this class  is  _10 ___:  If the  minimum   students  are not met 5 days prior to cla ss the class may be cancelled.   

.In the event of a no-show, the student forfeits their registration fee will be billed $25.00 

No refunds will be issued after the start of the class. In the event that a student is dismissed for failure to abide by any school policies, no refund will be given.

Should the school need to cancel a class, participants will be entitled to a full refund.
