Description

Required Credits for PA licensees whose license was issued 12/1/23 or after. If you have never renewed your license before, this is your required 1st time renewal class!

INSTRUCTIONAL OBJECTIVE:

This state-required 14-hour continuing education course is specially designed for newly licensed Pennsylvania real estate salespersons renewing for the first time. You'll explore critical topics that elevate your practice from pre-licensing knowledge to real-world expertise. The course is divided into a 7-hour General Module and your choice of a 7-hour Residential.

This engaging and practical course reinforces essential legal, ethical, and transactional concepts and prepares you to deliver outstanding service to your clients—whether you're focused on homes, land or property management.

General Module (Required - 7 Hours) Day 1

Understand licensee duties and agency relationships
Navigate agreements of sale and common contract clauses
Interpret title reports and zoning impacts
Review environmental concerns and disclosure obligations
Master buyer and seller closing costs and key calculations
Avoid common legal pitfalls and disciplinary actions

Residential Module (7 Hours) Day 2

Identify construction types and code/zoning requirements
Understand environmental issues affecting homes (radon, lead, mold)
Learn about mortgages, financing, short sales, and foreclosures
Explore the value of home inspections and warranties
Dive into fair housing laws through case studies
Practice completing residential agreements of sale

This class will be a two-part series, consisting of two full day sessions on Saturday Apr. 11 & 18.

Your registration covers both sessions.

Member Price:

Non-Member Price

$129.00 EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT until 4-1-26 $ 149.00 Regular Price

Tuition must be paid in full at the time of registration.

Cancellations:

If cancelation is made less than five (5) days prior to course start date may receive partial credit toward a future class at the discretion of the Director. Requests should be sent to dawn@poconorealtors.com

Refunds: will be provided only when written notice is received no less than five (5) days prior to course start date.

If a student is dismissed for failure to abide by any school policies, no refund will be given.

In case of a no show, the student forfeits their registration fee.

There will be a processing fee of $40.00 for returned checks.

Inclement weather Policy: We will reschedule the class later or offer a refund. Or we may offer the class virtually.

The Minimum Number of Students needed for this class is 8 : If the minimum students are not met 5 days prior to class the class may be cancelled. Should the school need to cancel a class, participants will be entitled to a full refund.
