Real estate educator Dr. Lee Davenport and PAR President Al Perry will discuss fair housing and how to make fair housing a reality in your community. Davenport, who’s been dubbed “The Fair Housing Equalizer,” strives to help real estate professionals understand and uphold fair housing for everyone, while conveying ways to defeat an unjust system of UN-fair housing. Davenport is a former RE/MAX managing broker and agent and writes a monthly column on race and real estate for Inman News. Her doctoral research looked at some of the top 1,000 real estate agents in the U.S. and scientifically identified some key traits of top producers. Her groundbreaking research has been published in The Journal of Real Estate Education and Practice and she’s been featured in Forbes magazine, CBS, Realtor® Magazine and the Huffington Post.
