The Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist (RSPS) certification
This course is designed to provide knowledge and skills related to buying and selling second-home properties for recreational and investment purposes, as well as building a second-home business. The course covers various topics, including adapting real estate skills to the resort and second-home market, understanding the factors that affect this market, developing business and branding strategies, and helping buyers select properties that align with their vacation or investment goals.

- How to adapt and apply your core real estate skills to the resort and second-home market
- The issues and trends that impact the second-home market
- Developing business and branding strategies
- Helping buyers choose properties that meet their vacation or investment second-home goals
- This course is the main requirement for the Resort & Second-Home Property Specialist (RSPS) certification.
- After completing this course there is a student certification fee is $97.25
(Reduced from $194.50 until the end of 2024). You do not have to pay it immediately upon completion you have one year from taking the course, however the additional benefits will start upon completed application and payment of student certification fee. - Visit the RSPS CERTIFICATION page to learn more about the benefits.
Additionally, completing this course fulfills the elective-course requirement for earning the Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR®) designation and the Seller Representative Specialist (SRS) designation.

Tuition must be paid in full at the time of registration.
Refunds, minus a $25 cancellation fee will be made only when written notice is provided no less than five (5) days prior to course start date. Requests can be sent to dawn@poconorealtors.com.
Cancellations made less than five (5) days prior to course start date may receive partial credit toward a future class at the discretion of the Director. Requests should be sent to dawn@poconorealtors.com
No refunds will be issued after the start of the class. If a student is dismissed for failure to abide by any school policies, no refund will be given.
In case of a no show, the student forfeits their registration fee.
There will be a processing fee of $40.00 for returned checks.
Inclement weather Policy: We follow the Stroudsburg School District Policy. If the school is closed, we will reschedule the class later or offer a refund. Or we may offer the class virtually.
Should the school need to cancel a class, participants will be entitled to a full refund.
